COVID-19 Re-Opening Guidelines

Below are the guidelines that All Eyes Vision Care is following regarding the reopening during COVID-19.

Our Safety Guidelines

  • We are following COVID-19 safety guidelines presented by the CDC
  • We are mitigating exposure in the workplace by implementing social distancing guidelines and modifying scheduling
  • Our hours of operation have been changed and can be found on our website and outside our doors
  • Our doors will be locked to prevent allowing excess people into the office. We will have a sign that says “Knock for Service”
  • Post extensive signage on health policies, including documentation in the workplace to help educate building occupants on COVID-19 practices

Cleaning and Disinfection

  • Staff is cleaning equipment before and after each patient
  • Staff is cleaning door handles after a patient exits
  • Staff is sanitizing the room following each patient

Our Patients

  • Before entry, we will be screening our patients by checking their temperatures
  • Screening patients with the same COVID-19 symptom questions asked to our staff, as stated above
  • Our patients are required to wear a facemask
  • Our patients are required to wash or sanitize their hands upon entry
  • If patient is traveling with family, only the patient is allowed into the office. Unless the patient is underage or disabilities warrant, then they may be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • We will only dilate our patients that are COVID-asymptomatic and if complaints warrant it, to reduce risk of exposure

Our Staff

  • Screen all employees reporting to work for COVID- 19 symptoms with the following questions and will be recorded:
    • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
    • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
    • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
    • Have you had new loss of taste or smell?
    • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
  • Temperature screening employees:
    • Staff will take temperatures onsite with a no-touch thermometer each day upon arrival at work
    • Normal temperature should not exceed 100.4 F
  • Increase hygiene practices–staff is required to wash their hands upon arrival to work, avoid touching face and practice good etiquette when coughing or sneezing
  • Staff is required to wear face masks as a precaution and for their own safety
